Today in digital archaeology: I wanted a PDF calendar generator and found one from 2009 that seemed nice, but the website had long ago disappeared. Luckily the internet archive had crawled it, and since the code was GPL'ed, I was able to update it to build on a modern system and produce page-a-day agendas for my e-ink tablet. https://github.com/osresearch/DynamicTemplates

So I left Facebook for obvious reasons a couple of months ago but since then and more and more missing the group feature where I had people to talk about very different topics I wonder if there is an Alternative to Facebook groups I know I can talk about anything here but this feels more like a blog also sometimes I have questions that are only relevant to the situation here in Germany and on Facebook there was something like groups for non-binary people here also for Berlin I miss that

Vor einiger Zeit war mal ein Audio Interview mit dem Künstler der das erstellt hat. Der hat halt aus der Not eine Tugend gemacht. Der hat vermutlich nicht damit gerechnet, dass das so schnell eskaliert.

Un professeur a donné un #ballon à chaque élève, qui devait le gonfler, écrire son nom dessus et le lancer dans le couloir. Le professeur a ensuite mélangé tous les ballons. Les élèves ont eu 5 minutes pour trouver leur propre ballon. Malgré une recherche mouvementée, personne n'a trouvé son ballon. À ce moment-là, le professeur a dit aux étudiants de prendre le premier ballon qu'ils avaient trouvé et de le remettre à la personne dont le nom était écrit dessus. En 5 minutes, chacun avait son propre ballon.

Le professeur a dit aux étudiants: «Ces ballons sont comme le #bonheur. Nous ne le trouverons jamais si tout le monde cherche le sien. Mais si nous nous soucions du bonheur des autres ... nous trouverons le nôtre aussi. »
